  • 2 bottles Shield Cider

  • 24 ounces orange juice

  • 24 ounces cold tea

  • 1 cup lemon or lime juice

  • Lemon or lime slices

  • Orange slices

  • Ice cubes

Mix in a large pitcher with ice cubes.  Pour in tall glasses and decorate with slices of orange and lemon.

  • 1 1/2 ounce (your favorite) Whiskey

  • 1 1/2 ounce Shield cider

  • a twist of orange peel and a maraschino cherry as a garnish

A classic. Pour the whiskey into a low ball glass, add the cider, and some ice (use a big cube if you want to keep the drink cold but not watered down), and a twist of orange peel and a cherry.

  • 2 ounces Calvados

  • 6 ounces Shield Cider

Pour Calvados in chilled glass, followed by Shield Cider

Kir is a traditional cocktail invented by Félix Kir, a French Catholic priest, World War II resistance fighter and Mayor of a city (what a resumé!).  Originally made from crème de cassis (blackcurrant liqueur) and white wine, Kir Normand offers fewer calories and more bubble.  

  • 1 ounce crème de cassis

  • 6 ounces Shield Cider

Pour crème de cassis into a champagne flute or a wine glass,...

  • 1/2 ounce Triple Sec

  • 1/2 ounce light Rum

  • 1/2 ounce Gin

  • 1/2 ounce Vodka

  • 1/2 ounce Tequila

  • 1/2 ounce lemon juice

  • 1 ounce gomme syrup or simple syrup

  • Shield Cider

  • Lime wedge for garnish

Pour the spirits and sour mix into a Collins glass with ice.  Stir well or shake.  Top the glass off with Shield Cider.  Garnish with the lime wedge.

  • 3 oz. fresh orange juice

  • 3 oz. Shield Cider

Pour orange juice into a champagne flute. Pour in enough Shield Cider to fill the flute to the rim and stir gently to combine.

  • 2 ounces Shield Cider

  • 2 ounce (your choice of) vodka

  • 1 frozen lychee

  • 1 maraschino cherry

  • 1 slice of lime

Pour Shield Cider, vodka and ice cubes into a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously. Pour into a martini glass.  Thread the the frozen lychee, lime and cherry on a skewer.  Serve.
