  • 4 cups cubed and peeled butternut squash (or pumpkin)

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 1 garlic clove, chopped

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 bottle of Shield Cider (1 1/2 cup)

  • 4 tsp dehydrated vegetable bouillon (or more - see below)

  • 1/4 tsp poultry seasoning (or a blend of thyme, sage, marjoram, rosema...

  • 1 oz Fireball cinnamon whiskey

  • 6 oz Shield cider

  • Apple slice

Pour whiskey into the glass, top with cider, stir gently and garnish with a slice of apple.

Serves: 2 glasses

  • 1 oz ginger liqueur

  • 6 oz Shield cider

  • 2 oz Vodka

  • Dash of ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 apple, diced

  • Cinnamon sticks

Stir together the ginger liqueur, cider, vodka, and ground cinnamon. Pour into glasses over ice. Add in apple dices and garnish with cinnamon stick.

  • 1 oz Pumpkin Vodka

  • 2 tsp pure maple syrup

  • 6 oz Shield cider

  • Cinnamon stick for garnish

Mix Vodka and syrup in chilled glass. Top off with cider, stir gently. Garnish with cinnamon.

  • 1 oz Fireball Whiskey

  • 6 oz Shield cider

  • Whipped cream for garnish

  • Cinnamon

Heat cider in a pan almost to boiling point. Pour whisky in a warmed cup or Irish coffee glass. Add hot cider. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon. 

Pumpkin cider

  • 2 oz Pumpkin spice liquor

  • 4 oz Shield cider

  • Cinnamon stick, star anise, or orange twist for garnish

Pour liqueur into a chilled glass, top with cider, stir gently and garnish.

  • 2 oz Gin

  • 6 oz Shield Cider

  • Sprig of rosemary to garnish

Pour gin in a tall glass over ice, top with cider and stir gently.

Garnish with rosemary

  • 1 oz gin

  • 1⁄2 oz simple syrup or superfine sugar

  • 1⁄2 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice

  • Shield Cider

  • Lemon twist, to garnish

Combine gin, simple syrup, and lemon juice in a shaker filled with ice. Shake until well chilled and strain into a glass. Top with Shield Cider and garnish with a lemon twist to serve.

  • 2 oz dark rum

  • ¾ oz ginger liqueur

  • ¾ oz lime juice

  • Shield cider to top

  • A dash of bitters

  • Lime wedges for garnish

Combine rum, liqueur, juice and bitters ice in a shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a glass over ice. Top with cider and stir gently. Garnish with lime.

  • 6 oz Shield cider

  • 1 oz Pomegranate Juice

  • 2 orange slices, squeezed into drink and used as garnish

Pour ingredients over ice & stir. Garnish with Orange slice.
